Elan in Ilkley: Anyone from here?

Coming out of Ilkley (W. Yorks) today I saw a red DHC with gold bumpers at the side of the road with an AA van behind it (looked like a flat, I hope it wasn't anything more serious). Is it anyone who's a member here? My Elan is Ilkley based.

The driver was standing next to the car with the AA man on the nearside, so I couldn't see what the problem was. I can't recall if there was a hat or not.

If the AA van wasn't already there I would've stopped, and if I wasn't with my wife I would've stopped anyhow, but as it was I would've definitely been more of a nuisance then help. But now I feel a bit bad about it...

not quite Ilkley, but still fairly local Rawdon. So if you see an Orange/White Sprint at the side of the road please pull over.

Evening Adi, mine is Red with Gold bumpers and is an S4 FHC...... but is currently off the road Should be back soon though just rebuilding front suspension & removing servo. Oh and i'm in Shadwell / Moortown
