Breather Pipe S-4

Hello and good morning, has any one got the head to filter box breather pipe for the Stromberg eng. that they do not require or can some body supply me with dimensions to fabricate one for my Elan, it is nearing completion and some bits have gone missing !, cheers Pete.

Hi Pete,
The original is basically a 5/8" diameter steel tube, 11" long, bent at 15 deg at mid-point with a flange 5/8" from each end. There should also be a mesh screen inside the tube at the engine end which is missing from the one in the picture. Rubber grommets locate it in the head and the airbox. Let me know if you need any other dimensions.

Edit: Found the mesh screen. Fine copper mesh soldered into a cone...

Hi Roger ,just the job should be quite easy to fabricate from some bits and bobs , location is essex ,just the other side of the thames crossing, cheers Pete.
