White S3 DHC Spotted on QEW by Oakville &Trafalgar / Ontario

Was that you? I hadn't been in Canada for more than half an hour when I spotted the S3 on the QEW.

Nice looking car :)

Mazzini,

It was probably Iian Thompson's S3 SE who lives in the area, it was restored about 10 years ago and he looks after it well.

I am off to Scotland tonight to get a recently purchased 71 Sprint Coupe' after a 30+ year hibernation put away immediately after a full restoration, it is remaining in Scotland!

Assume you are on vacation in the area, I could have showen you my 67 S3 DHC restoration project.

Could have been me 20 yrs ago when I lived in Milton/Mountsberg..
(I bought her from the second owner in Watertown, in 1981 )
but not now that my S3 and I are in San Diego..
