I think the confusion was generated by Lotus as part of their DNA!

Where we need to shed some further historic light is on the smooth S3, it's introduction and later spec changes, in particular the beguiling SS and the change to the effervescent S4. So anyone out there especially love the S3, enjoy digging out loads of info from respectable sources and putting it together? If so, please drop me or Mark a PM!
