Humble maybe but we both feel "at home"

Nice one, John!
You were SO lucky to find a house with that artwork & those fixtures & fittings
Mine have only ever had peeling wallpaper!

Thanks guys, I've been very impressed with photos of some of your garages holding collections of wonderful cars, perhaps better described as jealousy & not long ago I aspired to increase my Lotus stable but my limited garage space will keep me in check & leave me with some savings to spend on other trivia (runs for cover)
At least my new den offers some extra space for more books; Lotus of course!
"Wossat?" well its a toy that I can recommend to everyone.
In Germany they're appropriately called "Battery Joggers" they keep batteries working a bit even if the car is not being used.
Its done by discharging & recharging the battery slightly in continuing cycles.
My last battery lasted 10 years which I think is pretty good for a car that has been so rarely used.
Cheers
John
