I think the white one has been "missing" for many years.

I remember being told by somebody at Lotus that the S2 was used by a Lotus director after the series finished and then it dropped out of sight after that.

Oh and years ago I did catch sight of the build book and written next to one S2 chassis number was the word 'Avengers' - I can't remember the number, perhaps somebody out there has a copy of the page?

On a (sort of) related note, my Sprint CKD 892K appears to have been owned by Thames Televison in the early 80s. By this time it would have been an 9 year old car. I believe the Avengers were long gone by that time - anyone with any ideas why Thames would have owned it?
