Hi Ken,the manual has green outer covers is a lot less bulky than later manuals inside front cover on 1st page pt no is 26t327. I have a owners hand book is in black & white but i believe is reprint, I feel perhaps again photo on front may have been originally green as i have an originall brochure & is exactly same photo but in green. Hopefully someone can throw some more light on that one. Regards Curly

Thanks Curly,
The only books that i know were correct were the handbook and service voucher book for an S4 that i used to own.
They both had green covers.
I have just bought a handbook for the S2. It sounds like yours ie. black and white cover. That is why I am wondering about them.
thanks, Ken.

Ken,
A few years ago I bought a reproduction Handbook for the S3 from Ray at RD Enterprises. He had them made with a dark green cover. Hopefully Gary will post a photo with the definitive answer soon.

The only literature that I have is a pair of workshop manuals. Like all Early things Lotus, these are sequenced just like the chassis. Body?s. engines etc.
sequence numbers inside the red circles, 150 on the left and 915 on the right.
Maybe Roger or George has pictures of the covers of the early parts manuals.

Hi,
Just wanted to bring this back to the top.
Im still trying to find out what the handbook and service voucher book should look like for a 65 Elan S2.
Does anyone out there have them or know what they look like?
many thanks, Ken.

Thank you Tim. But were S2 handbooks and service voucher books green?
Ken.
That's what I believe, hence the "I seem to recall they were green" in my post above.
