Someone's gone to a lot of trouble to create this!

Ugh! Not for me. Most of the 'ad' was worthless to me. "finest components"? Show me the engine compartment, show me the underside, show me how it starts and drives, etc.

The car was on e-bay a couple of weeks ago. Gave a quick look and got a chuckle. The ad had quite a few photos of the car with the bonnet off, etc. Rather a downer after being at Coronado Historic races a couple of weeks ago and seeing some fine examples of 11's, along with several 26r's and a nice Escort with a 4-valve, which picked up a slightly dimpled left front fender during the fray.

Looks like it is built on a +2 chassis rather than Elan due to length of car

A lot of work has gone in to this car I wonder why they are selling after only 2500 miles

Some good pictures on the website

I do not agree with aping the appearance of old cars while making them modern to drive, and this car does not appeal to me. However, I am very impressed by the quality of the work carried out in this case.
