A gold bug, this is the alloy bodied Elan built by Ian Walker for Le Mans, It was owned by Paul Matty for many years and then about 4-5 years ago Martin Stretton raced it.
I was at Brands Hatch in the HSCC Classic Sports Car race in my FIA Standard Elan, it was torrential rain and I got lapped by this and Sean Walker in his gold bug. They flew passed me battling hard as if I was standing still.

like to see more of the internals if there are any -----Ill just keep the Renault in mine till it detonates and then look at a Toyota twin cam for it ---the interesting thing about Europas is no one seems too hung up on engine originality -----ed

Ed, this is an Elan not a Europa.
The next question will be why make an Elan that looks like a Europa when you can have a Europa?
