Hi All,
I have been shopping for a new car for some time. I have found a beautiful S1 elan in very original with some tasteful modifications. However it does not have a roof. I am still learning about elans and wondered if anyone knows if you can buy a hard top for an elan to fit the S1 separately?
Would appreciate any assistance. This is a great site wit ha lot of great knowledge.
Regards
Jeff

Hi Jeff, where in the world are you?
Yes, there are factory and aftermarket hardtops available for S1 and S2 Elans. Rare items that bring a lotta money.
I couldn't open the Tony Thompson racing spare parts page here in the states, does he have new hardtops for sale? How much?
It's a nice option to have in the wintertime.
My recommendation is; buy the S1 (what are the modifications?) and enjoy it without the hardtop.
Good luck, Eric

Sorry for the minor highjacking. I have no problem opening TTR's price list. It is an Adobe PDF document, you might need to download the free PDF reader from Adobe.
