It's Fox. They turn NASCAR over to another network starting this weekend so they have some time available for other motor sports.

I love the sound of a torque wrench in the morning. Sounds like... progress.

I/we are lucky here in Canada and do not have to watch Speed's coverage of F1, we get the ITV coverage on TSN, not sure how a person outside Canada would be able view it on TSN however?

Actually, I don't get Speed so I only get to watch F1 when visiting my stepdaughter and son-in-law. I do watch a bit of NASCAR and saw the promo for the Canadian GP on Fox last week. I don't think Fox's NASCAR announcers will carry over to the GP - would be fun if they did...

That would be fun. If the safety car comes out late in the race I can hear 'em sayin' ... WOW jus' look at all them lucky dawgs!
I don't get speed either so I trapse over to my Mom and Dad's to watch F1 live, early. My 82 year old mom is a TOTAL F1 fan(atical).
M. Schumacher got her going 'cuz she thinks he's cute (?) and she's been a super fan ever since.

Brian,
Thanks, but it doesn't work this side of the pond. I wish I could get British TV, I've been 'hooked' since "The Avengers" and "The Two Ronnies"!

Gene ,

I didn't think it matters where you are in the world when it came to the internet. Perhaps I'm wrong.

Why not try it for the second practice session from 7pm BST (11am your time).

I'm assuming your broadband is wde enough.

My son lives in Philly, so if he doesn't catch it on "Speed" then he downlods a bit Torrent later. It's not live but at least he can keep up.
Try a search at http://www.torrentz.com/ or http://www.mininova.org/
Basically someone uploads the ITV show to a public site and you can download and watch it at any time. Not sure how legal this is but it works!

The only thing sillier than Lewis Hamilton's mistake is having a red light at the end of a pit lane DURING a race.
Can someone explain to me why that light was red? Is it a safety car blend thing?

Hi,

I think it was red because the safety car and the following pack had not yet passed the pit lane exit.

Regards,
stuart.
