well for anyone interested ---the wiring is done ----the dash will be put back asap--and I'm going to consume copious amounts of brown liquids from green bottles and forget everything involved in wiring a lotus ed

My fantasy Elan is one with the minimal wiring NECESSARY. Do you have electric windows?
The S1 is close to perfect, two fuses, and some lights. But still, I see a lotta wires...
I've got two original oldies counting my plus two and I'm looking for that car to ruin by "unoriginalizing" it and eliminate ALL the old timey stuff not needed, including many feet of wires... I admire your accomplishment.

I added new fuse boxes to prevent any more smokers behind the dash ---the car has manual lift windows ---was an old racer ---better safe than original ed
