Lola sports racer NLC

I recently purchased a book "Racing and Sports Car Chassis Design" 1966 date by Michael Costin and David Phipps. It is a wonderful book.

Pictured along with early Lotus space frame chassis' is a 1960 Lola sport racer. I owned one many years ago. It was front engined and outdated when I owned it. Now they are quite rare.

I would love to find one. Anyone know of one or is anyone producing reproductions?

Hi Bob -

I recomend you don't look into what your old Lola Mk1 sells for now. You won't be happy.

One recently sold for 188K dollars (U.S.).

I sold it disassembled needing minor chassis repairs for 800 dollars in 1974.

I would rather spend that amount of money on a collector road car.
