Relax, lie down. Breathe slowly.
Venting time, but remember this may not necessarily be anonymous due to member friendships with spouses included.
I've come to read numerous "with my ever suffering wife," type comments on Elan.net and thought maybe it's time to share, sort of a Dear Lotushusband column, or should it be Dear Lotuswife?.....
Anyway, spring is in the air,
....I bought my S1 this time of year a long time ago and didn't tell anyone. I showed up in the drive, unseen, went into the house and said, "My mid life crisis is in the driveway."
There were no harsh words, (it was MY money spent!) and luckily she loves the car. (and me?)
And then the +2 showed up...

after 3 or 4 times she will get used to it----you should have been around when the first race car arrived unannounced -----a little silence is good for the relationship --

Ed, race cars and multiple Lotus aside... I think some of these guys are having probs with one Elan in the house...
My wife actually enjoys my Lotus interests, she appreciates their racing heritage and condones my behavior. She (pretends to?) listen when I talk about Jim Clark, Graham Hill or Indy.
Does your 'mate ride along on and enjoy trips in the Lotus?
