Two more questions

1. Should the throwout bearing be lubricated on the surface that bears upon the clutch?
2. When torquing the main bearing caps, should I lubricate the bolt threads or leave them dry to attain the 55-60 ft/lbs?

1.Probally not necessary but I always just put a slight smeer of hi melting point grease on the release bearing.
2. Its generally accepted that the threads should be clean and lubricated with a light oil.
