Elan Sprint - which red?

I am about to get my Elan sprayed. I am having it done in "49" colours so Red over White.
The White is simple - it is Cirrus White.
But there is a choice of Reds - either Carnival or Regency Red.
I beleive that one is more "Orangey" and the other a more "pure" red.
Which one is which?
Which one looks best? What is everyone's opinion?
Thanks in advance
Bruce

carnival red is the standard bright red.....
regency red is dark red....getting towards a dark velvet colour (even maroon I suppose)......
i think it might be L05 youre after (carnival red)......
unless it had its own colour designation.....IIRC these were the only 2 reds that lotus had at the time.......they did more colours a bit later for the elite (wedge) but they wouldnt apply to a sprint in gold leaf colours
cheers

Yep, the correct Gold Leaf colours and the Lotus codes and supplier numbers are:
L 04; Cirrus White; PJ 6170X0540; ICI P0309049
L 05; Carnival Red; PJ 6170X5350; ICI P0308385
Regency Red is referred to as Maroon in the Lotus paint brochure of 1971
