There was a programme on ITV tonight that I managed to view for a short while called "Must See TV" that I suspect is a series, tonight it featured The Avengers.
There was a clip of Tara King's red Europa and a couple of Emma's later S3 Elan along with some previously censored footage of Emma dressed in some slightly kinky outfit being chased around a room and whipped.
Anyway back to the jist of this posting! One of the Elan scenes was quite strange. It was of the car pulling up outside a house and Emma getting out. It might have been the lighting, but while the rest of the scene was well lit the window frames on the Elan were distinctly matt black and not chrome, with the window wound down they were hardly noticeable.
Wish I'd taped it so I could view it again. From a bit of googling I suspect this was a repeat - http://theavengers.tv/forever/avengernews-05.htm
Did anyone else catch it or get it on tape?

It might be the angle the light was reflected - it's hard to shoot crome
or metal surfaces as the light often reflects away from the camera. When
no diffuse daylight is used and the artificial light source is very pointed,
chrome might appear black.
By the way- are You shure it was an S3 - there are rumours that there was a powder blue S2?

The car in the Black and white episodes was a yellow S2, later colour episodes saw Emma in a metalic blue S3.
Looks like she did some promo work for Lotus too:

Seem to recall seeing the actual car in the Museum The Cars of the Stars in the Lake District unless you know different?
along with Del Boys Reliant Regal van, Chitty Chitty bang bang, the Batmobile etc
think I might be getting a little sad as I get older!
