What price?

I live in California and would like to get advice on what to expect to pay for a decent drivable elan (perhaps it needs some minor tune up work, but not a full on restoration).

I am thinking about a 1968 s2 elan?

My research shows that a very good, though not show Elan, will run from about 12-20K. Coupes were a little cheaper, but now they are in some cases, much more than a DHC. Weber or DelLortto carbs worth more, Big Valve worth more.

I believe three websites determine the current values on Lotus Elans for sale in the USA. They are:

LotusElan.net
eBay
Hemmings

Can anyone think of another source (please tell me) other than word of mouth...
