That has had a new chassis, rebuilt engine, rebuilt brakes, suspension and gbox. Car is down to fibre glass and trim is poor with centre console missing. Any idea of the value?

cheers

difficult to say. FHC were generally thought of as less desirable than DHC, but I think the FHC are rarer, and in general, look better.

In the US, I have seen rough cars go for 6-7, pretty good around 10-12, really nice 14-20, and outstanding in the 23-28K range. this is not scientific, just what I have observed. "Rebuilt engine" is the hardest thing to know about...it can mean a lot of different things like with any car.

good luck.

You can always take the top off.

Not a hard job and was completed by many coupe owners in the 80's. Don't get rid of the roof!

I would want to see all bills for the work.
Who did it ,what was done.
If there are no bills for a rebuilt engine all you can assume is that is an engine in ok condition that runs ok.

My money would be ?3-4000 for a basic tatty runner then start adding value for new parts engine rebuilds etc.
