So what does your Elan/Plus2 look like today?
Some pictures of my car taken a few weeks ago.
Just put away for the winter - although there is not much salt down on the roads yet. Maybe I'll take it out one more time this year....

Yes a bit of a Worcester fan, we fit over 50 a year. Find a worcester accredited installed on web and you should have a seven year guarantee, Worcester back up cannot be bettered in my opinion German influence I think. Great enginnering just like an Elan but with reliability.

The purist are gonna' hate mine... Here are some pics of the Elan. I've owned it since 1973, I made the decision to race her a little not long after I bought it. Took a Sawzall to the fenders so that 8" slicks would fit, flares were home made as well, and have never looked back.. Went from a street car to a race car and then back to street. I bet Ive had as much fun with an Elan as anybody on the planet....

I went to visit "ole blue" today and for a moment thought I would exercise her - spent the time talking to the guys in the shop instead. Might have missed the last good week-end before the onset of the winter -
What's that evil piece of work next to your car?

Close - but not an XJR5 , may not even be a XJR7 - I think this was the last US based IMSA car produced before Jag shifted money to TWR who did the XJR9's - The real evil piece of work was out of view -

Rob, it is off of a Ford Sierra Turbo. I think Mercury uses an identical one as well. The aluminum adapter above it was used to make it easier to remove the oil filter and to get better clearance between the exchanger and the block. It was made by Hank Clarkson at Clarkson Engineering. I think Dave Bean sells one very similar as well.

I took my Elan to the track for the first time last weekend. It was lots of fun chasing other British cars at Carolina Motorsports Park! Quickly learned that the Elan is a better car than I am a driver-but I am working at that...... Eric

Here's my car participating in the "Tasman Revival Legends" parade at Sydney Motorsport Park on November 24, that also doubled as a celebration of Elans. My passenger was Barry Colerson - you can just see his hat over the dash...
