Next question, would someone kindly provide me a pic of the firewall area where the parking brake cable goes through. Seem I did a bit of glass renforcing covered up the hole where the cable passes through the firewall. Something that shows its relationship to the master cylinders.
Also a pic of a left hand drive car, under the dash showing the location of the parking brake pull assembly. Again trying to figure out just where it goes and how it is mounted.
Thank you!!

I don't have a decent pic of that part of the firewall area. Here is the best I have of the pedal area. Someone will likely have something better soon, or I can take something more specific tomorrow. Not sure just what angle you need for the best perspective.

That is a start, thanks Jay. The footwell area was reinforced and a few of the holes were covered. I need to see how the parking brake assemble is bolted to the car. There is a small welded on bracket on the outer tube of the assembly. Where is that bolted (under the dash) to on the body?? At the end of the assembly closest to the firewall, is there some bracket I am missing that would stabilize it on the firewall end, is it bolted to the body at two points?? Also to be clearer, a pic of where the cable actually passes through the firewall, picture taken from the engine compartment so I can see, in relation to the two master cylinders, where the hole should be drilled.
I have looked through the archives. One long thread that deals with engine compartments just does not show a picture clear enough to see exactly where the brake cable passes through
That help??

This may be a better pic of the assy under the dash from a different angle. It still does not show the firewall end clearly, although there appears to just be a tube clamp there. I will see if I can get a better view of that, now that you have clarified what you are after.
Do you have the small, single hole bracket on the top of the handbrake assy about in the middle towards the handle end where it is attached by a nut to a bolt or stud coming down through the body?
