Engine mounted cooling fan options

If you don't want to use the original style two blade metal fan, then one like that in the attached photo looks as though it might fit, at least there seems to be enough space on to my car, an early S4 with an original metal fan and wide rad, (though I have to admit I have never actually tried to fit it). The fan is off another project, an early 70s Ford Escort 1300; it is 12 inches diameter and 1 3/16 inches deep, a bit smaller than a Twin Cam one, but I think it will still move more air than the older style metal fans.
I am not sure how easy such a fan will be to get in the US, but it is another option to consider.

Ray.

That's the Ford Escort Twin Cam fan. Was also used on standard Mk2 Cortinas and Capri's. It may not fit a Lotus due to what appears to be less clearance between fan and radiator compared to the Fords. The Ford two bladed metal fan used on Loti is a lot thinner

Now that I search for it using the applications you list, I can see that it's available from a few sources, Thanks.

So is everyone that is not running an electric pusher fan using the two bladed metal fan? No one has found an acceptable multi-bladed plastic fan that works in the limited space available?

Ray answered my question just as I was asking it.

I was hoping that someone had actually successfully tried one of these candidate fans. Up until this point, I've been too lazy to pull the radiator and existing fan to measure everything in order to then go fan shopping. I may have to sideline the car for a while to do this. Sigh...
