sorry to say but your reg number must have the dashes between the numbers and letters in France. Without the dashes it is an Italian number

Billwill, In the other garage, there is Union jack old fashion style flag displayed on the wall...
depends where I park the seven when I come back home...

To Alan: yeah I know... I will just pretend you never told me if I get arrested...

Vernon: And for the sills... I will take my time to decide...painting in black the bottom seems to change the silhouette of the elan... making it more streamline. May be not blaxon but may be not shiny paint, I think this part can be seen but should not be noticed, it becomes part of the shadow of the car... may be some matt black instead?

For the moment, the Elan is still at the garage, the TTR shocks are getting installed. So far front are done, one rear side is done but on the other side it seems he has difficulties with a corroded bolt... :(

Please can you let me know where you got your new seatbelt stickers from? They look good I have just refurbished my seatbelts and the only bit missing now is new stickers.

Welcome to the forum Anthony. Here is a link to an eBay supplier, although they seem pretty spendy. Not sure if this is the same supplier I used. Unfortunately mine have started to peel off a bit.

You know what, I really like that colo(u)r and I could live with it. How would it look with an S2 with the hardtop the same colo(u)r?

Why is this thread not in the Gallery?

Because it would get ignored there....... give it a try. Plenty of Elan content in this thread anyway.
Kindest regards
