The BRM S3 Coupe is the must-have Alan. For me, the most desirable road Elan ever!!
I'm afraid that the Metier doesn't do it for me either, although I recognise its historical significance. And the Elanbulance looks like a Coupe with a bit grafted onto the back end....again, not too excited.
But even my must-have will be a won't have.....too expensive to use in the way I enjoy Elans, and I'd feel guilty having it stuck in the garage as yet another static display...I've had and still have too many of those!

The S3 BRM coupe is lovely, certainly tugs at my wallet strings more than the Elanbulance and Metier. But it's not for me, I'm too attached to Kermit and Isabella and at least one of them would have to go, probably Kermit to raise the cash and then I would be wanting another soft top to take it's place.
Kermit is unique as far as I know and gives me a great deal of pleasure to drive and own. Let's see what others think at Birmingham over this weekend.
