but moving here you would not have access to world wide events like the Cotswold shin kicking championships -but you can see a Lancaster a spit and a messerschmitt 109 fly over in formation as just happened 2 minutes ago -----ed

...had two Spitfires and a Lancaster fly over me this afternoon. Just practicing for the Air Show, a Hurricane, Spitfires, Mustangs, a Lancaster and various jets helicopters and hopefully a Vulcan bomber in two weeks time. yum yum. I just stand in the garden soaking the sounds.

Yawn.... I live 2km from the piano-keys at Woodford: Vulcans, zzzz..... Lancasters, zzzzzzzzzzzzzz Shackletons..........ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Biggest excitement we had was a couple of years back when a fully-loaded Antonov had four goes at putting down on the (relatively) short runway. Told the kids to take cover.
I think they had to fly in the replacements for the burst tyres, which were delivered by.... an Antonov............

Is the article in the July 2009 issue?

My 26R was originally supplied to Duchess Autos in New York and was supplied with pop up lights and driven by Peter Pulver at Nassau and the 65 Sebring 12hrs.

Att'd pic from Sebring 65

The picture that bigvalvehead attached to his post is a still from the movie "Les aventures de Michel Vaillant", a 1967 French production. Have a look at http://www.imcdb.org/vehicles.php?make=lotus&model=elan
