Well I certainly enjoy giving mine a good thrash when ever possible Mine gets regularly abused on cross country sprints and a few track days each year.
It only gets tucked away in the garage for the winter when there is salt on the roads.

Hi Gary ,
The front tow hook of "OEW" is attached to the chassis ...
With 3 Points : 2 of the steering rack and the 3rd is the body-to-chassis .
This was inspired by an italian S3 gt race car , for sale few years ago and made by a friend ...
This is a very strong device , that help to protect the body...
Two pictures ; my hook before being on the car , and "the inspiration" , only two fixation points , but the same rubber cycle tube as protection and extra reinforcement ...
