200 miles round trip over some of the worst roads I've seen in decades....Celtic Tiger is officially dead...

On holidays down the beach in summer - as close to perfection as you can get.

9:00 am the Great Ocean Road. Overnight cloud is lifting and sun coming out. Dry road no traffic. Take the 30 kmh bends at 70 kmh and run up to the the rev limiter in second and third. Hard out off the corners and brake hard into them. Absolute heaven

It looks cleaner now. I`ve used that Pro-shine recommended by Alex Black. It`s the second time I`ve used it, it`s a dry cleaner which I was doubtful about but it`s really quick and effective. The pinky effect in the front paintwork is caused by the flash, the camera, or the man.

On our darker colors the stripe shows up better at night.

So far this winter there has been more salt than snow, still bare ground and temps have been pretty nice except for a few days when it got cold (7 F), 14 F this morning and warmed up to nearly freezing by sundown when I took this picture near the mouth of Scituate Harbor. I think this topic makes a better registry then that other one where I have all of my broken Elans listed, most of the photos in this topic are on the road which is where Elans are supposed to be

So I took my Sprint out for a spin through Coconut Grove early this morning (in Miami), I turn the corner, and this is what I see. Being the cautious sort, and not wishing my my Elan to be damaged, I turned around.

(Sometimes people break into these signs overnight and reprogram them... usually with "Zombies Ahead" warnings, but I'd never seen this anywhere other than the Internet before.)

OK, so not quite today (although the +2 looks much the same) - this was at our village do in the spring of last year. Like the post above, the size difference between it and the car next to it is hysterical - and the +2 has more seats!
