So what does your Elan/Plus2 look like today?

11 degrees Fahrenheit at 2 am, supposed to be 8 F by daylight so a good early morning for a few pictures along the water.
Like the shade of red that the Elan is in. Is that a US colour sorry color?
Race me red? I dunno
I was out of coffee and other essentials so I took the S2 shopping yesterday. 15 F degrees and the Twin Cam was enjoying the cool air. I was going to take pictures but the memory stick was full of these dumb Elan pictures and I didn't want to stand around to figure out how to delete the stuff. 34 today so put another 5 gallons of fuel, the seasons not done yet.

Just wait cause the warm is coming again your way! We hit 62 late this afternoon.
Now you should have gotten two memory sticks with your bargin camera, did ya look in the black bag that came with????
Our weather is to hold nice thru the weekend and I know it is just spoiling us cause it will get cold soon.
Enjoy while you can.

Beau and I went out about 3:30 to go over to my folks for dinner, dad turns 87 Wednesday. Took about 45 minutes to go the three miles to get over there the long way, 55 degrees and its a week into the new year.
I even washed the S2 today, going all out

Started carrying Elan parts into the Florida garage today. Got to move the water heater around the corner so the trailer can go straight into the garage. Not allowed to keep it on the driveway. Then the Elan can roll onto Florida soil. It was mid-70s and blue sky today. T-shirt weather, but that's why we make these all day trips, isn't it. It won't be too long I will be able to photogratoph my Elan next to the Atlantic too.

Regarding the lawn mower, what shade of BRG is that?
I'm jealous, we've had 50+ degrees here in Illinois for a while but with a water pump making lots of noise I don't dare take the car for a spin.
Garage gets kind of cluttered during the winter months.

It looks rather dirty, as you can see. It`s such a lovely winter`s day and I needed to collect something for my wife`s birthday tomorrow so I claimed that I was giving the Elan a run out. I think its important to give the car a good run and warm through every month, much better than leaving it stood no matter how carefully its laid up.
Jim
P.S. The car is parked next to our pond, or Lake Chapman, as I like to call it.

It rolled out of the trailer yesterday onto central Florida soil. With the trailer
taking such a large portion of the garage space, I will have to have it outside
to fit the doors and it is raining today, but at least it is here where I can finish
it and it promises to stay warm.

While we were in Ohio for Christmas and retrieving the Elan, the cold came to the eastern US including central Florida. We're new here but everyone's grass "froze", but the neighbors say it will all come back. Our grass will never be perfect, since we won't be here to care for it over the summer. We had some damage to a hibiscus plant and everyone's banana plants are a mess, but they must come back too. Didn't seem to affect the citrus trees that we see in the area.
