So what does your Elan/Plus2 look like today?
This has been the best December that I can remember, in the low fifties today and sunny, I had a few gallons to burn so off I went. I got a mile and a half down the road and the light turned red so I ducked into the empty train to Boston parking lot that used to be the site where I had a rented shop bay. I had the end bay and paid very little, the best thing was it was 68 feet deep so I had a lot of projects going. Anyway, I stopped the Elan and got out, its a 600 car park so it holds a few cars, maybe 100 cars were were parked there. I took a couple photos, the Elan is parked pretty close to where I sanded off the original paint 15 years ago. There are a couple of inset pictures from 9 years ago when I was moving out. I did manage to get in a few miles in so another great day.

Out for a round of shopping a bit west of Boston - temperature about 40F, but roads dry and salt-free.

I love the sound of a torque wrench in the morning. Sounds like... progress.

My Elan looks mean green and very chilly! Cold weather testing at Pevensey Bay this morning, minus 3 centigrade overnight.
Kindest regards

Ah yes, another boring Elan photo from me. Beau and I went to Christmas eve dinner and stopped for a picture. I hope everyone has a great safe and wonderful Holiday and that your Elan gets you around next year without any problems, real or perceived.

I had to break the ice on Beau's double washtub (his swimming pool) this morning (17 F -9C), about 1/2 inch that formed over night. 15 minutes of slime ball later Beau heads for a drink, this is a bit of an understatement as he just jumps in crashes through the ice and starts to drink. Just part of the job I guess, Beau doesn't feel any of it. Funny thing, last night when I got home I noticed an insect flying, I kilt it and looked closer, it was a December mosquito that was getting a bit chilly. I love the global warming stuff. Miaybe I'll have to change the water in his pool more often...

Sun and freezing temps outside, no heater in the S2 so it was a bit cool for being out. I don't know when winter is going to arrive but I am going to keep enjoying it while it lasts.

Gary,
Don't get too comfy with the weather. In Ohio today, it never got outta the 20s.
In the teens tonight with wind chills around zero. It's heading your way. Saturday, we loaded the Elan SS and there's Lizzie ready to head back to Florida with the car.
We'll finish putting it back together and then it should be seen around the Flaggler/Ormund/Daytona Beach areas. I guess we could say we're headed south for LOG, just a little early.

Ken sent out this photo of his lovely Elan on a New Years day drive along the other coast. Christ, 40 years sure make the Elan look "cute", glad I haven't changed any .
11 degrees Fahrenheit at 2 am, supposed to be 8 F by daylight so a good early morning for a few pictures along the water.

Like the shade of red that the Elan is in. Is that a US colour sorry color?
