My car hates me!

WOSP starters are a menace. I went back to the original Lucas unit.

Agreed about the TTR exhaust; do you have a cone shaped KN filter?

The S2 is so much lighter than the S3 as well.

Yes, I think I'll have my Lucas one rebuilt. It's very slughish at the moment.

I have K&N filters on the carbs, no airbox. I keep meaning to build a wider airbox to fit my original round backplate, but all of these other things have put it on the backburner.

The S2 is lighter, and better looking too! We should organise a run of some kind sometime.

Do you have an alarm or tracker on the car? I have trackers and they drain the battery in no time, I use a C-Tek charger to keep them topped up, if I don't the starter sounds like it's dying after a couple of days.

I retained the original carb airbox and went for a cone shaped filter in the nose.

That's kind of you to say so, but I don't think there is much in it between the S2 and S3.

It would be good to finally meet, we have similar cars and aren't that far away from each other, you have an open invitation to come visit :D

The photo was taken yesterday near Castle Howard.

No alarm. The Lucas starter is just tired (120k miles).

I just love the shape of the window on the S1 and S2, which is lost on the later cars. I specifically wanted a coupe, so for me the S3 FHC was the perfect car. I had the option of buying my FIL's Sprint DHC at the time, but my wife has a phobia of open cars (ever since I managed to roll a Mini with her in it, she believes we would've died if it was an open car, so only myself to blame...).

Cool, I'd love to visit. I'll get my car back and hopefully there will still be some nice weather so I can drop by for a show and tell!
