No, it's hard to tell the color, but it's not the Miata blue, it could be Ford Grabber Blue, but without a car next to it, I could just be imagining things.

I'm thinking the color is FRB like the painted the MATRA's in the 60's

Is there really a true FRB? Kinda like a true BRG. It seems that as long as car used a shade of one colo(u)r, then it was acceptable. I agree that the color looks very much like the MATRA in the picture though. Bottom line is it may not be everyones or anyones cup of tea, but I like it on the Elan.
