My son races go-karts here in So Cal and races against Steves grandson (Chase) it was his dad, Chad who told me about the elan in Japan. I will have to try to get a photo (if he has one) when i run into him again.

Being interested in the Goerge Best Lotus Europa, I know the car has also been registerd with Northern Irish registration, can anyone advise me which registration the car had in Northern Ireland?

Not sure about the N Iron reg on the Best Europa. It's a 'H' English reg 1970 in the pic.

Steve McQueen had an eleven for sure, but I've never heard of him having an Elan.
