... not make any misguided predictions of when I'll have my car back up and running.

Finish sorting out the suspension on my '71 +2S by modifying my rear control arms so I can adjust the toe and by increasing the caster from 2 to 3 degrees.
Fit a stroker crank, .040 over reduced height pistons, and higher lift cams to find some additional power.
Go through the gear box to find out why the car jumps out of third gear into neutral when off the throttle descending a hill.
Then, participate in a vintage rally, run a couple track days at Laguna Seca and Sonoma, and attend the West Coast Lotus Meet in Seattle in July.
This could be a very good year and I hope it's good for all of you who make this site informative and interesting.

Well I decided to beat the list last night and got two projects running! For the new rebirthed Elan I plan to drive it lots and enjoy my work! On the Elite I will run the motor through a few heat cyccles and do some testing and then decide what is next on its list.
Never ending fun!
Happy New Year to all!!!

Well done Mark! Noticed that event on the other post..
I am doing a lecy fuel pump fit and a rebuild of the carbs etc to a higher standard than last time. Then I am replacing the front suspension uprights with new ones complete with powder coated disc back plates etc and all new fasteners.
About to get started now....

Finally get to drive my car on the road!
This is after 22 years of ownership, finally managed to get an MOT last October then had to wait 10 weeks for the DVLA to sort out the log book and tax .
Last hurdle is the number plates, ordered as soon as I had the right paperwork, promised to be with me before Xmas, found out yesterday that my order is still sitting on the sales persons desk .
Chris.

better/working door locks
of course...it's an ongoing list, that may or may not get completed/started.

Rebuild the garage, including a pit (I have serious garage-envy, looking at some of your pictures)
Get the S2 into the garage
Take the body off again...
Rebuild the suspension
Put it back together again
Rewire the whole thing and install the dash
Put in a seat
Get it MOTed...
And finally, drive it some!
Oh, and maybe I'll find a +2 to keep it company at some stage!
Happy New Year, all!
