Colorado orange, so you re part of the family of the 1970's unpopular colour scheme!
Now sooo cool compared to these numerous yellow and Red ones!!!

I like Tawny Brown! And now look at all the brown/bronze coloured cars about on the roads today.

Yep, let's hear it for those wacky 70s colours!

Perhaps, but I also have a foot firmly planted in the twenty-first century, I'm thinking of having the S2 painted a lurid shade of 2012 BMW red ;)

C?dric the frenchman.

Not sure whether you should use satin black paint or bitumen under-seal (blaxon). I am sure someone here will know...

Is satin black some kind of shiny black? Do you think i could tape to mask and protect the bottom and use a spray can of black paint and do it myself?

It's not gloss & it's not flat - somewhere in the middle. Both Duplicolor & Wurth do it in a spray can.

You could definitely mask it yourself & use an Aerosol / spray can.

Here's a link to Wurth trim paint in Satin Black - http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/smart/more_info.cgi?pn=WRTH-089099000U&catalog_description=Flexi-Trim%20Satin%20Black%20Paint%20-%2015%20o%2Ez%2E

Wurth is a german company so you should be able to find it in France.

I would have no hesitation to use Blackson C?dric, best applied by spray though, I think the cans and the spraygun are available in France but not cheap though http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Schutz-Spray- ... 0450211962

Satin paint is easy to apply with a brush, no need for fancy equipment, just a roll of masking tape. :D

Why is this thread not in the Gallery?

Salut Pistacchio

Yes, nice looking car and wife - I'm lucky enough to have both, too!

If you paint the sills I'd avoid Blaxon or other bitumen type finishes - it's ugly because it's not meant to be seen.

Your sills look so nicely finished that's it's not worth the bother IMHO - they don't look good when they're ragged.
