Sellers / Ekland Elan

No problems at all, as you can see it was an aluminium roof conversion made by Shapecraft that was fitted to approx 12-14 cars, it was an attractive conversion that was also functional as it increased a Shapecraft's top speed compared to a "standard" 26R of the period as as the airflow more efficiently over the body.

Road car had no rear quarter windows, whereas two 26R's converted cars did.

I think the Shape Craft is a fantastic addition to the Elan line up and hope to create one myself .

Hi Greg
I have moulds for the Shapecraft roof and boot and I am building a Honda S2000 powered Shapecraft.
Cheers

Dave- is this 39PG? Are you fitting a replica of the modified nose?

Pete.

Hi Pete
I am working on 39PG as it was once.
The current owner didn't want the original nose remade but has gone for a 26R front end instead.

The original was Fugly!

The shell in the pics is my S1 Honda powered shell.

Cheers

Dave,
Current owners, eh?! Are they worse than DPO's?
I wonder what happened to Sellers own "ordinary" Elan DHC?

Hope you are OK.

That’s alive and very well in a private collection. It has been restored to full original status.
