My Elan is also for sale. Not as nice as mopho's but I'm only asking $17,500.
It's a 1967 Series 3 DHC. Overall, a very good, presentable driver.

I think you might be seeing so few as you would have to be crazy to sell an elan. What an amazing car! If I ever get one (it is not looking likely at this point) it will only be sold after I am dead. It makes my day when I see one. They are perhaps the most undervalued sports car in the world.

Yep..... your not wrong. There are far less Elans for sale now. I have just bought my Fourth Plus 2. Arguably? the best Lotus ever built.
Beautifully balanced and the best of all worlds. Space, comfort and " Grin Factor 10" at all times. For well under 10 grand there is nothing that gets even close. Still one of the great mysteries as to why they are not more sought after and much higher on price?
Still, its a huge advantage for those who know how brilliant a well -sorted Elan is. Keep the faith everyone.
