A few things got in the way of finishing the engine ----sooooo looks like next week may see it ready to sling into the car ---

Black bit certainly does go on the bottom, and it needs a paint job .....
otherwise Ed's gonna see all his oil leaks .... he he !!

were all gasket ed in place ---tomorrow the head goes on ---JUST A TIP --TO KEEP YOUR HEADERS FROM RUSTING SPRAY THEM WITH WD 40 once in a while --these are 40 plus years old -they will smoke a bit but wont burst into flame --honest --BTW ==Don Tingle has had a shoulder joint replacement so if you can send some good Karma at his email ADDRESS [email protected]---ED

THATS A LITTLE NICER -----the valve cover was a 20 dollar find at a car show flea market ----was for a dry sump engine --so I removed the plug and fitted a V.W. after market filler that was kicking around [used J.B. weld ]----no more accidental oil cap leaks -- --and yes new fuse box and running the wires behind the fire wall are in the plans ---
