Great looking coupe. It looks very much like one I saw forsale on Pistonheads late last year. Could it be the same car?? I am interested to know what make and size the wheels and tyres are as well as the spring/shock combination that is fitted?
I have an S4 coupe that is relatively standard save for a Sprint spec engine. It needs some new rear shocks and I am contemplating new full set of some adjustable shocks. I was thinking maybe GAZ? Do you or does anybody on this forum have any feedback on the GAZ product? I am also contemplating some Minilite style wheels, in particular the Panasport 13? x 5? or maybe the 14? x 6? Minilite wheels shown on the Spyder website.
I have some concerns with tyre clearance with the 14? wheels, particularly the width and whether they foul the body work. Again, does anyone on the forum have feedback regarding these wheels fitted at an S4?
Any help of feedback would be appreciated.
Regards,
Matt

Matt, it indeed was my car, and the very same that was for sale on Pistonheads last September.
The wheels and tyres were genuine Minilite 5 x 13", and they were shod with Yokohama AO32R racers ( 175 x 60 x 13"), or A539's for the road.
I ran it with rose jointed top wishbones (hence adjustable for camber), Spider bottom wishbones, and GAZ adjustable spring platform / adjustable bump and rebound which came from Tony Thompson.
At the rear it had Koni top adjustables, with 21/4" dia springs and the struts modified with adjustable platforms for ride height.
The trick thing here was the spherical joint at the top of the strut which allowed a good deal of rear camber, I ran it with 3 degrees neg.
This meant that you could literally get your fingers between the tyre and the standard wheelarch. TTR do a conversion, but the guy who I bought the car off made his own.
I wouldn't go to 14" wheels, the tyres are more expensive, and you will have clearance problems , both against the std spring, and the tyre against the wheelarch, unless you use very skinny tyres.
I also really like Koni, you get what you pay for, and I personally would choose Koni or Bilstein any time, over anything else.
Spax are getting better, my Ginetta G4 came with some relatively new ones on, but they're not in the same league yet as the other two I've mentioned.
The GAZ performed very well on the front. Although once again I've used Koni's on the front with great success before.
Hope that helps,
