Hi all,
I suppose a new fraud is spread across Europe:

http://www.segundamano.es/barcelona/lot ... s&st=a&c=5
http://voiture-occasion.vivastreet.fr/a ... 0/45821774
http://www.zoekertjes.net/autos/oldtime ... -1600.html
http://www.pifauto.com/voiture-occasion ... -1600.html
http://www.veteranposten.dk/visAnn.asp?Id=87940
http://www.pifauto.com/useritems.php?user_siteid=86676

Google shows quite a lot of classifieds in different countries, some have been deleted already.
I saw these images in a previous scam already.

Just be careful, don't be tempted ...

Guillermo

Not sure this is strictly fraud, but a strange one nonetheless - I'm not sure if anyone else has spotted it already

As far as I can see the only things "Series 3" about this car are the tail lights and the registration number. Even the boot handle is late S4. I have had some communication with the vendors and they are convinced its a genuine car. And goodness knows what's going on at the front around the bumper!

Yes, it has had an airing here: elan-f14/with-arches-t25103.html

About the only S3 thing I see about it are the tail lamps. The doors and handles are all S4, the demister grilles in the crash pad are S4 and the body is different underneath for the 2 versions of demisters. I don't see any way this car was registered in 1967.

Looking at the ad once again, I see:
3 owners from new, 47000 miles with large history file. Last owner 27 years. Total nut and bolt rebuild with mainly new/old stock parts including Chassis and Body. Viewing by appointment via Philip Lendon on 07850 360088.

I suppose it could have been written off and everything save the registration number and and tail lamps were lost. Perhaps that's the reason for 47k miles.

It turned up here in Sweden also, "apparently" it's located near me so I sent an email asking to view the car in person just to see what kind off reply I got but as you might imagine it wasn't possible since the car "was located in Germany".
