Racing Elan photos.
Along with my '72 Sprint, I am the proud owner of ONL 12F which is the Elan heading straight for the Armco in the centre of your picture.
I bought the car off Richard Hayhow, who told me it had only had one careful owner. I guess it was all the other owners that I should have worried about.
Jesting apart, I think Richard had raced the car in HSCC Historic Roadsports before he sold it to me. I had planned to do the same, and did for a couple of seasons. Richard completely rebuilt the car for me (twice) and did an excellent job, it was very competitive (which is more than my driving was). It remains in my garage, still in excellent shape, and I am afraid hasn't raced in anger for a few years.
