No...I was NOT in for a breast check....though some say I should be!

Great photo & I love the look of your car; the way it sits & the colour.
I recall a similar situation when an articulated truck pulled over into the lane I was in, in my Lotus 7 & I was forced to drive along under his trailer until he became aware of the situation he had caused.
We were in very slow traffic but it was one of the scariest motoring situations that I've ever been in.

Oh he got done for driving without due care

Cheers
John

Peter,

May I add my compliments also --- your car looks great!

Great shot Peter! Did you have someone to check the clearance?!

I remember I used to be able to get under some car park barriers in an X-1/9 I used to have. Not tried it in the Elan yet :D

Just struck me....she has terrible spacial awareness!

Anyways....in the end there was about 5 or 6 inches to spare :)

John (Larkin)....can't wait to see the Elan again!

John (Grumpybodger)....EEEK!

Happy driving!

lol....the photo has appeared!!! Dunno how that happened!!! :D

This was taken at the top of Connor Pass towards Dingle in County Kerry.
Thanks to Leslie as we didnt get wet when the storm arrived. No uchtung spitfires but as the pass is right next to the second highest mountain in Ireland unfortunately two wellingtons and two sunderlands and one german condor crashed into the mountain during the second world war. Will try to get a picture on a sunny day the next time

Gerald,
The problem is (was) that you uploaded a very large 1.5MB picture file - very naughty - a picture of this size doesn't need to be any bigger than around 200KB for the same quality. Takes quite a while on most peoples connections to download 1.5MB. I'm a bit surprised the site let you do it - most sites won't - they have a max. size. (Use a photo program to reduce the size and compression).
Hopefully helpfull,
Gordon

Because I have sooo much money in this car that this is probably the best time. Besides the leak is not very large, and there is always another car to build. Also have a Healey, a Mini, a Chevron B36 and B29, and Newman's Peanut Car. Too many, need to thin the herd.

Here's the car in southern Idaho on the way to LOG 31. It rained off and on thru Idaho. Finally found the sun to the south, which created a fantastic rainbow. I think the sunroof was open for the rest of the trip.
