S3 Airbox to bonnet clearance (photo/measurements)

Long shot, but does anyone have any photos of clearances between airbox/carbs and the bonnet underside when the bonnet is fitted? (Or measurements of key tight spots)
I am in the process of figuring out throttle body options for fuel injecting it but the engine is out of the car at the moment.
Many thanks in advance.

Is this what you’re looking for? The pic is at cylinders 3 and 4. Gap is small - I can only get a finger tip under there. There’s a much wider clearance at 1 and 2 - larger than my fist.
Not sure how to get a pic under the hood, but the obvious problem areas are: radiator/cap, front of the cam cover, carbs for cyl 1&2, radiator hose from thermostat housing to the radiator.
If you can be more specific I’ll try to get a pic for you.

As a tip. Put your phone in the engine bay, on video setting with an additional torch light source, or similar, then close the bonnet !
Worked for me when checking bonnet catches.

Sorry I gave you the wrong view. The site won’t let me upload a video file. I’ll try to see if I can just create a pic from it. In the meantime, There is a reinforcing ridge in the bottom of the hood that runs right over the airbox. Looks like the bottom of that ridge is pretty close to the top of the airbox.
Best,
Tony
