HELP - Elan drive for birthday surprise

Hi all, I am desperately looking for some help in trying to find a classic Lotus Elan similar to the one pictured. My step father owned this car for over 30 years, it was his pride and joy, but 12 years ago someone crashed into him, flipping the car upside down and putting him in hospital for several weeks. The car was completely written off and he almost was too. He now drives an MX5 but still talks so fondly of his Elan days. So, for his 70th birthday this month, I would really like to find a similar Elan which he could drive again, maybe to take out for a day if possible or even just a couple of hours, to bring back all those years of good memories he had in it until it was suddenly taken away from him. Does anyone please know someone who could help me out with this please as a surprise for him? We are located in NW England so the closer the better, and I am of course happy to pay for this opportunity, but trying to find one is proving very difficult! Doesn't have to be exactly the same colour of course, or convertible, as I' m sure he will appreciate just driving one again. Many thanks in advance. James
