Hello to all Elan enthusiasts
Been a while since I posted anything about my car.
Anyhow, after a 6 year ownership and rebuild, it is finally back on the road!
When I took over the ownership of it, I found that it was un drivable so I decided to have a go at restoring/rebuilding it so I could at least drive it.
Anyhow, here in a few pictures is a lot of work...
I made a short video you can watch here. https://youtu.be/d9Mut5U-4fI
I hope to make some better ones later.
Thank you
Regards to all
Paul

Your video says purchase in 2019. I thought it was more like 2014.

Wow, my bad, you are quite correct I picked the car up on 13th November 2014.
Here are a few pictures from that day.

Yes it is Regency Red, it was the original colour of the car we discovered once all the layers of other colours were stripped off.
Thanks for your comments.

It really suits the car. Good decision to go with the original colour.
I have an April '67 S3 S/E dhc, it was originally Wedgewood or Medici blue, but was painted Wimbledon white in 1974. When I paint it I'll probably go for Wedgewood, but seeing your car in Regency has given me something to think about.
