Easy for me to say, buy a good one and don’t tighten it down to much as whatever product used on the badge can crack/splinter.
I tried a cheap one years ago, total rubbish.

Can you add thin foam/rubber to stop debris buildup, also to aide tightening?

And, I do not use nuts to locate, I use rubber hose that fits the threads snugly cut to stud lengths. Can’t overnight and crack the porcelain. And, adds liteness.
