Have just been told my S4 Sprint was originally Cirrus White, based on the Paint Code on the Vin Plate. There is a thread here with an all white Sprint DHC, but I couldn?t find it, can someone direct me to it, please?

Are you referring to the low mileage S4/Sprint that is now for sale in the Middle East?

viewtopic.php?f=19&t=29892 I'm sure there was a thread about fitting the side decals as well but it's alluding me. imho i'd suggest Not fitting the side decals, our car looked way better without them on (i much prefer the original silver wheels to the black though)

It?s looking really nice Chris. I realise your car probably had silver wheels from new but what happened to the black sills? (Lights the blue touch paper and hides! ) if you can be arsed would you be able to retake the photo with say some black electrical tape over the sill?? It would be really interesting to see a direct comparison between the 2 photos. Always fancied a monotone white Sprint myself.

Thank you......... It's not a sensitive subject, the original plan was to return it to 'as found' and the sill's were white....... not saying it looks better or worse it's just how it was. It's like the wheel arches, as i was doing it i though having them white is a daft idea but when we got the car we found the guys who retrofitted it to Sprint spec at the factory just let the over spray cover the inner arches (so they were white too), i could be mistaken but i thought all S4-Sprints had Silver wheels?. I may well paint the sill's black at some point but right now i'm trying desperately to get it running nicely.
I will take some pictures with black tape on the sill's but it might not be for a few days as i'm fitting new throttle shafts so it's in bits just at the moment.
Mmmm black sills
