I wish!

Someone parked this fast old 'lorry' next to us at the hotel.

Fantastic cars from every era, handful of nice 2+2's but did not see any other sprint?

Sprints are too new for Goodwoods golden era!

Nice photos, though I think you could probably fit the ?lan in the boot of the Bentley.

Yes Richard, although doubtless an element of sour grapes, Signor Bugatti had a point when he called them 'lorries', the old Bentley has a huge presence and would be far and away my choice of any car from the 1920's.

Actually, a Bugatti was parked just across the hotel car park and it looked like a 'shed' in comparison. - I could post a picture? - So long as the proud owner does not read this forum and none of you mind the Elan in pride of place, only slightly blocking it.

Leading into a thought that might spark even more debate?.. With my 'last of the line', also one previous owner(s) Triumph TR3A and Jag XJS, have I actually got the best examples of the best (sports) cars from the 50's, 60's and 70's?

Well, as Meatloaf famously sang; "Two out of three ain't bad!" - And before anyone asks 'what about the 80's?' To misquote an even more famous quote, from someone or other, "If you can remember a good car from the 80's, then........You weren't really there (man?)..

Possibly, I'm confusing and miss-quoting two different; 60's and Vietnam? and, on that note, will leave it for now..Happy however, to defend one or two of my choices; if not all...
