Help with Parts Identification

OK - Heres the story - I recently bought an S4 from the wife of the deceased owner with an installed engine (not tested yet), restored brake system & alot of parts (some Elan & some Europa & some ???). I've got the Bean & the R.D Ent. parts manuals but I'm still having problems identifying some parts (maybe some arent Elan??). In the attached pic for example I have what looks like 2 windshield wiper motors - which one is Elan? Any help on the other stuff would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jack

Jack, you really need a Parts manual and a Workshop manual, plus the Buckland book. Life will become a whole lot easier for you then.

Can't really see in that picture, but each door has a window moving motor, which was originally designed as a wiper motor of a different car, I think.
We have a parts manual here on the website in the Wiki, but Geoff has not yet made it official.

... and Ray's site here has that info as well. http://rdent.com/manuals/index.html
You'll also find him helpful if that stash of extra parts comes up short of a much needed piece.

I think these are a few of your items.
1. bracket to secure 1a wiper motor.
2. dash air vent.
3. seat floor runners.
4. plate where steering column passes through bulkhead.
5. breather pipe (head to air box)
6. outer steering column grommet.
7. hand brake tree.

Another item on the left side is the steering column lower clamp (part of item 22 here - http://www.lotuselan.net/wiki/HB_-_Steering_-_Column). You will need the felt strip to go between it and the column when fitting.
And if anyone has a spare clamp please let me know as I need one!

The two tubes in Brian's post above appear to be just like the tubes mounted in the door hinge area on a +2 to protect the door wiring.
Knowing Lotus they may be used for both purposes.
Edit: ...and while I was typing.
They mount from inside the body with two screws.Knowing Lotus they may be used for both purposes.

Jack,
Parts 11, as shown in Brian's numbered photo, are the left and right, vertical water gutters from the A posts.
Cheers,
Colin.
