Lime Rock Historic meeting

PostPost by: dougweall » Thu Sep 05, 2013 4:39 pm

I get a regular e-mail from Sports Car Digest and what did I see from Lime Rock this below.
Although there is only one Elan photographed on the site obviously there were at least 3 in attendance, may be Phil will enlighten us, I assume it is the same Phil who posted in the long running thread of what does you Elan look like.

?Elan Elation,? we add lightness 50 years hence
First: 1972 Lotus Elan Sprint, Greg Zelazek, Roswell, Ga.
Second: 1970 Lotus Elan Sprint Series 4, David Porter, Darien, Conn.
Third: 1972 Lotus Elan Sprint, Phillip Harrison, Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y.

Well done guys.

Doug.

Hi Doug, yes that's me :D

I did a report in the "Elan 50 years in the USA" thread here - http://www.lotuselan.net/forums/lotus-talk-f50/elan-years-the-usa-t29223.html

There must have been over 20 elans there including the racers.
