So what are you promising yourself you will achieve Lotus wise this coming year?

Hi Steve
It's 15F degrees outside here this morning, not a lot that is going to happen at least for another month and a half.
When the weather does improve there will be a new topic created call Sows two. The original Ugly Flaired Elan Coupe (36/6292) is going to be the subject, there is also 26/4045 that needs paint and the interior done (did I say interior?). Before that all happens though, 26/4020 needs to run and Tingles body needs an engine built up (maybe, hibernation is still an option). So I guess the plate has some meat on it, I would like to get some metal work done on the LoCort also but thats best not discussed on this forum or this topic will slide off into the abyss of the nether reaches of this flat earth.

Finish the fiddley things overlooked on my S4, and make a major dent in the Mk1 Escort body fab.
I need help on the MK1 and looking for someone in the US with Gp2/4 fabrication experience.
Happy new year!

Progress the restoration of #5042 - the year will probably be spent learning glassfibre work and getting around to returning the body to narrow S3 arches. Have got
the arches from Miles Wilkens, so now only remains the hard work part
Happy New Year from rainy Denmark.

... get my Elan off the jackstands (where it's been since July) and onto fresh tyres (that I ordered in June)!!!
I'll be installing urethane damper mounting bushes on the front, my rebuilt front calipers and Keith Franck's Weber bits. Meanwhile, the weather is too miserable to do anything but wait fora few weeks.

Starting today I am going to do something on my project car (or project car related), no matter how small, in order to get it finished and out on the track this year. I liken it to how to eat an elephant......one spoonful at a time
First thing is to tidy up and put eveything back where it should be so it can be found when needed. Then get the parts to repair the manual milling machine. I also need to get someone to sort out the software communication issues on the CNC mill. Anyone in the SE England area know someone familiar with Mach3 CNC software?
